Kennedy Thomson : ウィキペディア英語版 | Kennedy Thomson Kennedy Thomson (4 April 1936 – May 1996) was a continuity announcer and presenter for Grampian Television. Thomson, a former speech and drama teacher, joined the Aberdeen-based station in 1970 and also read regional news bulletins (''North News'', ''North Headlines'', ''Grampian Headlines'') throughout the day.〔(The TV Room - Grampian announcers' profiles )〕 He was also a presenter on various programmes for the station including schools programme ''Mathman'' (as the title character), ''Wonder Weekly'', ''Wings & Things'' and the film magazine series ''The Electric Theatre Show''. Thomson also presented a request show for Grampian Hospital Radio in Aberdeen.〔(Grampian Hospital Radio history )〕 He retired in April 1996 after 26 years as Chief Announcer.
